All our tips for using your Billy mower properly
Important: Always pass the blade in the correct direction
To avoid cutting yourself, the metal part should always be on the skin side . The ceramic (white) blade should not come into contact with the skin, as this could cause cuts.
Avoid cuts, even in sensitive areas
The best way to slide your billy blade is to make sure the metal part is flat against your skin. No need to force or apply pressure, just slide the metal part or the blade over your skin.
A micro cut is always possible if you have very very thin skin, so it is advisable to always stretch the skin a minimum.
Tips for avoiding cuts on your testicles
This area of the skin is the most delicate and sensitive. It is therefore necessary to follow a few good practices to avoid any cuts in addition to the safety built into the blade:
- Always stretch the skin where you are going to clip the clippers
- Place the metal part against your skin, never the white sharp part.
- Keep the blade as flat as possible against your skin. Avoid angling it.
- Don't press down on the skin. Let the trimmer glide along the skin; otherwise, you could force the skin closer to the blade.
- If you notice that one area is more sensitive than another (skin that is much too thin for protection, for example), pass over it as lightly as possible. Ideally, you should hardly feel the blade passing over your skin.
Depending on your body shape and skin characteristics, you'll need to pay special attention to the first trim. With practice, it will become faster and easier, but above all, take your time!
