Super simple: rinse it under the tap or in the shower and that's it! Billy is 100% waterproof, so you can run it directly under water to remove all the hair.
Cleaning in detail:
After each use, run Billy under warm running water for a few seconds. You can "open" the rear blade by pushing on it, which allows you to clean the inside and remove any stuck hairs. Once the clipper and blade are dry, you can also use the small comb to dislodge stubborn hairs.
And if you use Billy in the shower, you rinse it right away while you shower. Even faster. The hairs wash away with the water and your Billy stays spotless.
For a more thorough cleaning from time to time (like once a month), you can remove the blade and rinse it separately. It takes 30 seconds: you push backward to unclip it, and you pull it upward to remove it. You rinse the blade and the body of the trimmer, you put the blade back, and that's it. Be careful never to separate the white part from the metal part (your blade will not be able to go back and it will be unusable!), however you can move it from right to left to check that there are no hidden hairs.
No need for special products, complicated brushes, or disinfectant spray. Water is more than enough. Billy dries quickly, and then you can place it back on its charging base or store it right away.
What NOT to do: No dishwasher, no boiling water, and don't leave it soaking in water for hours. A quick rinse after each use is perfect!
Billy is designed to be easy to maintain. The less hassle you have, the better.
